Chantal Cantle joined Balderton in 2021 as Head of People. She brings over 20 years of senior people and management experience to the team.  

Chantal has a broad range of expertise gained in corporate, investment banking, private equity and startups. In her last role, she oversaw the People function and the US & European scale up for a rapid-growth SaaS tech startup. She is used to establishing and embedding People functions, fostering internal talent, and ensuring best practices across the employee lifecycle.

Chantal has an MA in Human Resource Management and a BA Hons in Geography from University College, London.  She is also a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and sits on a number of HR discussion forums.
