Tim joined Balderton in 2020. He is responsible for the valuation and monitoring of the performance of portfolio companies and also has oversight of all aspects of Fund Operations.

Prior to joining Balderton, Tim worked at Coller Capital where he worked in the Investment Monitoring Team, valuing companies and working with fund managers to analyse their portfolios. Tim previously audited investment banks in the Assurance Team at EY.

Tim holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Exeter and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Tim also holds a Diploma in Classical Saxophone Music Performance and boasts an impressive guitar collection disproportionate, he says, to his actual ability.
