Solène joined Balderton’s investment team in 2022.

Prior to Balderton, Solène was an Analyst at the fintech-focused venture capital fund, BlackFin Tech, where she supported the team on deals ranging from seed to growth stage.

Prior to this, Solène interned at the corporate venture capital arm of the French Insurance Group MAIF, focusing on investments in fintech, insurtech, edtech, and mobility. She also worked for Pumpkin, a French mobile payment application.

Solène holds a dual master’s degree in Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management and Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, specialising in Corporate Finance. She also has a master’s degree in Business Law.

Solène is fluent in French and English.
