Balderton portfolio company Revolut raises $66m in Series B

We first invested in Revolut in summer 2015, in their seed round. The growth that the company has achieved in 24 months has been phenomenal. 

We are delighted to again be investing in the company, alongside Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, in this Series B round. 

Building a business in the increasingly competitive intersection of technology and financial services is difficult. Nikolay and his team have maintained a strong and clear vision from the outset, they have designed an elegant product that solves a major problem for consumers, and continue to make bold and pioneering moves as they add functionality for consumers and most recently launched their Revolut for Business product.

Revolut has built a strong position in Europe, and is very well positioned to grow into Asia and North America. We look forward to continuing to work with the Revolut team.
