Charlie joined Balderton's investment team in 2020. Charlie's focus at Balderton is in the areas of B2B Marketplaces, Capital Markets, Remote Work Collaboration, Open Source Software and the Creator Economy.

Prior to joining Balderton, Charlie was an analyst at firstminute capital, where he worked with the investment team on a number of seed-stage deals.

Charlie then joined Generation Home (a firstminute portfolio company). Working in business operations, his focus was mainly on user testing, market research and hiring.

Charlie holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College. During his time at Imperial College, Charlie founded a VC club with the aim of educating students about the world of entrepreneurship and early-stage investing, attracting speakers from top tier funds.
