Lovable raises $400m in Series C funding to help people run their businesses

Today, Lovable is announcing $400m in Series C funding at a $13.3bn valuation, led by Menlo Ventures and Scaleup Europe Fund, with Balderton joining as a new investor.

Lovable is building the software creation platform that gives those closest to a problem the power to solve it – a generational opportunity that spans billions of people all over the world.

We’ve known Anton Osika, Lovable’s Founder and CEO, since he first built GPT Engineer three years ago. It was always clear he was an exceptionally talented builder, and over the past three years we’ve watched him grow into an exceptional leader, scaling Lovable to decacorn status in record time.

The numbers reflect just how fast that growth has been:

  • 60 million+ projects created since launch in November 2024
  • 900 million+ monthly visits to Lovable-built apps
  • Nearly two-thirds of Fortune 500 employees now use the platform

Lovable’s first chapter proved that millions more people could create software. The next is helping them run the products and businesses they build – with the infrastructure, integrations and reliability that serious products demand. That’s a much bigger opportunity, and one that will propel Lovable forward as a global leader in AI.

Lovable is also walking proof of something we feel particularly strongly about: that the most important AI companies can be built right here in Europe. Anton has lived that. He resisted every call to relocate and built something worth billions from Europe anyway. It’s why he joined and supported our Built in Europe campaign this summer.

Today’s news is also another reminder of what Stockholm keeps producing. From Spotify and TrueCaller to Voi and Lassie, my partners and I have been backing this city for two decades – and we’ve never been more energised by what’s happening on the ground. Lovable is another chapter in this story.

Thank you to Anton and the team for the trust. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
